• They love serving as “The Santa Couple” in retirement

It all began in 2001 when Vernon’s beard had turned white, and folks started calling him “Santa.”  Ellen made his first Santa suit and has it ever been fun.  It took a couple of years for Ellen to make a dress and join Santa on his visits.  She did not like sitting home alone while he was having all the fun.  His suits have been upgraded from home-made to professional over the years.

They have traveled to Portland, Oregon and Branson, Missouri for professional Santa training. They continue to read and take courses online to keep their Santa skills polished just for you.

It has been a great retirement activity that they highly recommend to any other natural bearded guys.  (We can even help the younger guys with bleaching your beard for the Santa season.)  We can help you get started.  There is a great market for Santa’s in the Treasure Valley.

In 2023 we realized we could not make all the visits that were requested so we found other Santa’s and Mrs. Clauses that would like to help us spread the Christmas JOY. In 2024 we have expanded to use Party Pro Manager software to help us keep track of it all. We are now the Idaho Santas Clearinghouse to serve you better. If we are unable to fill your request, we have several others that can step in for us.
